I would like to thank Dr. Stephan Chiu for his surgical skills and the professional staff of San Leandro Surgical Center for their care before, during and after my recent cataract surgeries. Dr. Chiu is very professional and has a kind and engaging manner with his patients. And I'm extremely grateful for his surgical skill that has returned clear vision to me.
I am very pleased with the outcome of my recent cataract surgery by Dr. Chiu. The process went smoothly and the follow-up instructions were detailed. I did feel the financial explanation was very general with nothing in writing prior to the day before surgery. However, this is not a reflection of Dr. Chiu, but more the staff in general. I am still healing, but am thrilled so far with my "new" vision for both distance and near.
I’ve had both my eyes done, within a two month period, by Dr Chiu. He’s an expert in cataract removal surgery. His concern for your condition starts way before the actual surgery. He explains and defines which of the various cataract surgeries fits your individual needs, and allows you to question any concerns you may have.
