Vince at Step by Step was amazing. He was very thorough and checked everything inside and outside the house like it was his own home. He went out of his way to explain everything during the process and answer any questions we had during the inspection. He then followed up with a great report summarizing everything including photos. I highly recommend Vince and Step by Step.
Vince was amazing! He was early and up on the roof even before we arrived for the inspection and was ready to give us all the information he had already found. He was very good at communicating with us every step of the way, which area he was doing, what he was checking for and then what he found. We hired this inspector to do our home inspection for our first house. He raved about how everything was in great shape with a few small things we needed to get fixed and if he were looking for a house this one would be a good contender. We have had so many issues that (now we know) an inspector should have caught and told us about. Our latest is the fact that we were getting mold in our bathroom so we decided to change out the exhaust fan. We discover it was not hooked up properly and had mold in the duct. He unveiled issues, both minor and major, that we were not expecting to find while under contract for a new house. He followed up with a beautiful and easy-to-read report that surely came in handy when re-negotiating our closing price. FIVE STARS!
We had a great experience with this inspection company who provided us with a report of the good, the bad, and the ugly on a home we are purchasing. Vince was on time for our morning appointment and we had a completed report in our email box by the end of the day.
