Never had a problem with Dr. James Stepanski. He always listened to my concerns, and I hardly ever waited long for him to see me. Scheduling can be tricky at times if you need to see him same day, but with him being a great doctor, I understand. The office staff has always been helpful, and his son Nicholas is also an excellent doctor. My visit started when I signed in at the front desk. The nurse comes to get you asks some questions, take vitals and record it on computer. Within 15 minutes Dr. Stepanski walks in. He talks with you and helps comes up with the best plan to help repair the problem.
I have been going to Walton Medical since I was a kid. I used to see Dr. Stepanskis dad & Dr. Fortino. James Stepanski is one of the most caring Doctors I have ever been to. He makes you feel like you have all the time you need to explain your problem. I have recommended him to many & they all love him too. He is one of a kind I recommend him highly.
If I could leave no stars I would. The office staff is overworked and stressed out. His X Ray machine is a joke. I don't know how he can read it. He thinks his opinion out weighs test results and the facts. My mom was losing weight, had constant stomach pain for months. I had approached him and asked to get a cancer scan. He refused saying she's not at risk. Saying it's because she's diabetic and it's her diet. Long story short, we found out she had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. beware of him!!
Friendly and spends the right amount of time to understand your concerns and answer your questions. He cares about you as a person and will work with you to get your health on the right track.
The doctor was absolutely great his staff is where I have the problems . Called last week to have a prescription ready for my son came in this morning to pick it up and I was told I had to wait until the secretary was done so I waited she came up to the window and said yep I got the script right here and picked up the script in her hand . Then proceeded to tell me that I needed to come back in 15 minutes when she was off of her lunch break ... Secretary has black hair in a ponytail very rude

Have been going to Walton Medical for 30 years - 1st as a teenager and now I take my family here as an adult. Great doctors and staff. They are always thorough and clear and patient. Always able to help us and get us through whatever ails us.
