My Husband was diagnosed with a torn meniscus of his knee. He did not want to have knee surgery. He had a PRP (blood) with fat graft. The procedure took 2 1/2 hrs. There was not to much pain associated with the harvesting of the fat and blood, however the knee injection did hurt. He was given medication for the pain. His knee did swell the next few days.
