I've been coming here for almost 20 years. And have had nothing but the most professional experience. I had one Dr. for 15 years before he retired. Still with the same therapist.
I transferred from Metropolitan hospital in Manhattan to Steinway Wellness and Recovery over 9 years ago and I am very happy. I see a therapist, Christine, and psychiatrist, Dr. Jean Bart. My mother is a patient there and had told me they had openings and I transferred. My mother’s doctor is Dr. Yael. I wish I can give this place a no stars. The doctors here have no compassion nor the expertise to take care of people with mental illness. Under the care of Dr. Yel my brother still had psychotic episodes and was still able to manipulate her thinking he was totally fine. He has extremely hard time traveling due to hodophobia and agoraphobia. You would it wouldn’t be good idea to decide to see him on the same day.
