I went to the dealership to look at a Yukon. As I was about to take the vehicle out for test drive, the sales person asked if I was planing on using my own financing. I responded with, “ I always use my own financing with the credit union”. They were able to find what was wrong with my truck Where another car dealer did not and said they could not find anything wrong with it. A well known dealer in Toledo Ohio has said that.
After a few days of back and forth discussing the truck I agreed to purchase. I got my own approved financing through my credit union. I was told to bring a letter of verification for funds. I decided to make the long trip to purchase the truck. Checking in with the salesman along the way he informs me they don't accept outside financing. It was a check issued to their dealership.
