Jamie really takes the time to probe and understand your symptoms prior to prescribing medication. She is also very serious about monitoring your condition. She is very skilled and also very caring. I have complete confidence in her and I highly recommend her practice. Audra is also very professional and has a very kind manner.
Update: Apparently she read my review and became poopy faced. Office called and asked me to come in. I made the trip all the way downtown just to have her kick me to the curb because she was butt hurt by my constructive criticism lol. She could have just told me over the phone. Truly unprofessional.
I have been seeing Jamie for about 6 months now. She has helped me more in these few months than others have spent years trying to help. I am ahppy I was referred to Jamie. I would recommend her and her office to anyone.
Never saw her. 17mns late could have had 40 mns with Jamie. No exceptions! Interested in helping only on her schedule.
My teenager has seen Jamie for two years. Jamie has been willing to try medication we wanted to try first, and has been a good partner with us. When my daughter turns 18 next month I have no reservations about her psychiatric care. The few times we've had to wait for an appointment have been because someone is in obvious crisis. Good to know that if we needed an emergency appointment we could be seen.
Piece of advice: After your first meeting with Ms Steinert, make sure you get her treatment plan. I failed to ask and she didn’t divulge anything. Over a year of treatment, she blindsided me. Don’t let that happen to you. Other than the occasional backstabbing, the only complaint I have is she’s never on time.
I have been receiving psychiatric care for almost 20 years, both counseling and medication treatment and Jamie is by far the best. I use her in conjunction with my counselor and dietitian. She is a huge part of my recovery team and I trust her with my medication and health. Jamie is experienced, knowledgeable, trustworthy, compassionate and an advocate for her clients health and overall well being. I highly recommend entrusting Jamie with your health needs as well.
I have seen Jaime for many years. Couldn't think of seeing anyone else! Very understanding, she knows how I am before I even says word. Very compassionate!
