Dr Steffek is excellent! Be prepared to wait because he takes the needed time with each patient and grateful for that. Staff is courteous and accurate. I communicate w/ dr thru detailed messages left with nurse.
I have taken by children and grandchildren to see Dr. Steffeck for over 30 years. Yes sometimes you have to wait but he gives you the amount of time you need. He has seen our family through some very tough times and I highly recommend him.
I saw Dr John. Steffek for about 15 yrs before he moved back to Tx. He is friendly,knowledgeable,understanding and dedicated.im hoping to hear back from him soon on my phone.
He takes time to understand and tells it like it is. He takes no excuses. He has strong words when they are needed and a “soft empathetic touch” when that is warranted. Would highly recommend.
You will wait for hours after your scheduled appointment to see Steffek. Staff has the god complex.
Yes the three hour wait is terrible, and yes he is a bit arrogant, but the guy is a genius. Very knowledgeable and can put his foot down and make a decision that is usually right unlike many other pdocs I've seen as an adult. He had me on a medication regemine that got me through high school and college with flying colors. Only until I had to work with less competent doctors did I fully appreciate Dr steffek. Charlie is a total fruitcake though and is pretty useless.
You will wait hours for your appointment. The time I waste here is ridiculous, it doesn't matter how good or bad of a doctor he is.
Dr Steffek has been treating my family for years and I can't speak highly enough of him! He is very knowledgeable and up to date on information in his field. He takes time to listen and reflect on what you tell him. He is very careful about prescribing medication and follows up in order to keep aware of how his patients are doing. We have had nothing but good experiences and that is why we are still seeking his advise to this day.
Friendly staff from the moment you enter. Comfortable waiting areas. Relaxing atmosphere. Dr Steffek is thorough in his examination & testing. He explains the results, conditions, medications, & coping skills in a friendly, honest manner that made me feel very comfortable with his recommendations for both me and my pre-teen son.
