Saw Dr Knapp for the first time today. Has read some of the reviews before seeing her and she was amazing. Very thorough. Very personable. Really took her time and showed that she cared. Would highly recommend her.
Made appointment for a second opinion with Dr. Knapp after suffering an eye injury by a tennis ball yesterday. I had already seen an optometrist and thought an Opthalmologist should be consulted. Arrived 20 minutes early and an hour later in the exam room had not seen the doctor. Medical assistant said doc wanted a scan and dilation of both pupils. I showed him that my pupil was already dilated from a prescription that the optometrist had advised and told him I had the same scan the day before at the optometrists office. I s... read more
I am spending more time with doctors as I age, and the relationships matter more. Sure, they’re all busy and need to be thorough, but I’ve met some who don’t even look you in the eye. Dr. Knapp is one that I look forward to seeing. She is always courteous, generous with her time, answers questions, and makes you feel important. I highly recommend her if you want that extra TLC.
Saw Dr. Knapp for sudden onset of blurry vision and ghosting. Was told I have dry eye and prescribed Restasis. After a couple weeks the acuity improved but was still struggling with lots of ghosting especially at night. Made a follow up appointment and went there in tears saying how much anxiety I have over this ghosting effect. She didn't seem to care.
