These guys are amazing! Cut my hand and showed up here. My insurance was out of network, but one of the guys who just happened to be there (off duty) helped me out and gave me a temp bandage to send me on the way - I was really grateful for them
So, I contacted this outfit by phone, seeking an appointment for a nagging chest cold. They asked for my name and DOB as usual. Then, the person asked about my insurance. I informed them that I was covered by BlueCross/BlueShield through my employer and, since I’m over 65, also MediCare. This crew at Steese Immediate care / urgent care is fantastic. They took great care of me. Made accommodation and made it a seamless process. Got everything I needed done in the same day. They have an exray machine here also. Dr. Matija took Great care of me. I was visible here. She answered all my questions with ease. Highly recommend...!! Thank y'all for your professionalism.
I was traveling through the Fairbanks area and I had called to ask about coming in. They told me I could come in and the wait time varies depending on when I got there. When I arrived the girls up front were extremely friendly and helpful. I got taken back relatively quickly and met with a female provider Matija. The experience was very nice. I was in and out quickly. I enjoyed all the staff and the facility was clean. It was overall a very good experience.
This place is a scam. My 22 year old son went in because he was afraid he had pneumonia. They charged him over $800 and want to do X-rays, 4 different tests and a blood draw, upchaging him all the way. If he had done what these scammers wanted it would have cost him over $1400 for one 2 hour visit…. And he has insurance. These people are everything that is wrong with medical. Oh, and the 4 tests he did pay for all came back negative….
