Steeplechase is a great place to be that's very family friendly. Our neighbors were nice and my child became friends with several of their children, all around the same age. The nature trail that is nearby is a fun excursion to do as well. Maintenance staff was always nice and very helpful when needed. Steeplechase is one of the better priced apartments for the Malta area and had met all of our needs. The only reason we left was due to a new career opportunity.

I would not recommend this place to anybody. The units themselves seemed to be well taken care of, but after being told we would hear from them in 3-5 business days about our application status, it took over two weeks to get ahold of someone. We were then told our application was denied (3 days after applying) for something that was “not a reason to deny you over” - Rachel the leasing manager. She said she would personally get the issue taken care of and we would be approved and that she would get back to us later that day. ... read more

This place is one disappointment after another. The gym was closed for months, the common room has been under construction for half a year. And the pool which has limited hours to begin was just closed and we were all told to leave on a 96 degree day because they can’t find a lifeguard. We’ve had water damage in our apartment and broken appliances that get out on the back burner. All of this and the rent was increased $250 a month while we pay for amenities we can’t use. Don’t move here.
