We had a great experience with Steenbock’s on Orchard as our wedding caterer! There were a few times throughout the planning process when communication was a little slow and it could take longer than expected to get a response, but once we connected, they were always helpful and willing to work with us. Very nice building. Clean. Pricy for food that was not very good. The steak and fries were good. The schnitzel was tough hard and little taste and the spetzel was oily with an off taste. There were green beans in the spetzel that were raw and off-putting. We stoped in because one of our party needed a GF meal. It was after 12:30 and only one other table had customers. No offer of refills and no check back on if the food was as expected. Not what we expected.
Very very cold fries. Otherwise, food was pretty good.
I can't decide what was better, the food or the service. Happy hour was phenomenal.
