Im not sure why theres so many bad reviews but I have had a very positive experience! Very welcoming, quick and simple. I haven't had any issue's with dr johnsen. I would absolutely recommend Dr Johnsen! My healing and treatment has been amazing. I have no complaints! Him and his team have been amazing through this whole process!!! 🙌
Baffled that there are people out there who have had a good experience with this guy. He must be a hot and cold person, because he was not remotely respectful to me. He scowled and rolled his eyes at me multiple times. He refused to elaborate on what some of his questions meant, stating that he was “not allowed to answer any questions” because it was an Independent Medical Examination. Went to office , took X-rays and now need to get those X-rays to other doctors. They make it practically impossible to do this in a timely manner. Most other doctors will forward to another doctor or put in your patient portal. but this office is very cumbersome and will not do anything to help you . Very unhelpful to get anything done.
I was referred to Dr. Johnson after months of being bounced between doctors—starting with an orthopedic surgeon, then to a foot and ankle specialist, and then back again. I’ve had a grade 3 ankle sprain for over seven months with two torn ligaments. After having an X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, and MRI, I came to him hoping for real treatment. Don’t go to Dr Steen Johnsen unless you are retired and have absolutely nothing better to do than wait in the lobby for an hour and a half for every visit. I have twice complained to the Banner TOCA staff about this issue. I even modified when I book my appointments, only booking morning appointment times. Nothing changes.
