Our owner, Johnny, grew up right here in Steamboat. He knows the water, he's a lifelong fisherman, and you won't find a better resource for all things flyfishing.

MY name is Leo Hernandez from Henderson Nevada / Salt Lake City. I was in town for 5 days last week. I have never fly fished in Steamboat Springs Colorado before. No knowing where to fish or anything about the area I decided to go to a local fly fishing store. The best choice I made was contacting Steamboat Flyfisher. They had everything I needed and more. It is the nicest fly shop I have ever been in. The fly fishing was amazing big fish and not many Anglers. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone.

Fantastic time yesterday with Rob & Tim! Outstanding start in the morning, but action dropped off sharply by noon. Both are extremely knowledgeable and always working to find another spot, change flies, etc. I have been out with TIm at least 4 or 5 times, he is the best!

Spent the weekend at a great all Women's Clinic SFF hosted. Learned so much, got to hang out with great people and the guides are top notch!
