Giving just 3 stars. This restaurant was picked over other for a 30th birthday. We didn't want anything big, it was just 4 adults and our child. When we sat down, to a $200 dinner. We were greeted by Post Malone (a rapper) on the radio. Followed by more hip hop (the last thing we wanted to listen to over a nice lunch/dinner) one person ordered a salad that couldn't be eaten due to the amount of "drizzle" that more like a coating of balsamic. Recommendedsecond time being here. had great fish and chips and beer. as a boiler operator/mechanic it's cool to see all the components of the boiler utilized as parts of the restaurant
The other night we had a party of 25 track and field throwers who were out in Spokane for the National Masters Track And Field Championships. At first we were assigned a narrow room, but when our server was told that some of our Big guys are clausterphobic, she quickly prepared a much bigger room with 4 round tables. That was awesome. The history resounds through this incredible facility, with beautiful restoration and a most recent remodel. The Steam Plant does an amazing job. My husband and I love the downstairs bar and spend date nights drinking our favorite in house brew, Jalapeño Beer, and testing different appetizers. It is one of my favorite places to take out of town guests and have small gatherings of 10-20 people.
