Because Steam Master Cleaners did an excellent cleaning of my wall-to-wall carpeting, I enquired if they could clean my oriental rugs (two were 300 year old Kilims (with uneven fringes). Steam Master assured me they hand washed antique carpets with great care. Cleaned and returned, I paid the bill, put the rugs on the floor. The fringe tassels on one of the Kilims were completely sheared off, one of my new oriental (Near-East hand woven) rugs now had tassels that appeared mangled by a machine. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Steam Master Cleaning. Juan Giddeons, one of the Certified Service Technicians, was great! He arrived in a timely manner and called us when he was about 30 minutes away. He was extremely knowledgable about carpet cleaning and very professional. Our carpets look brand new! We have two dogs and the smell in our house now has no pet odor! He was able to get set in stains out, too. Our carpets look brand new.
