Perfect location. Heard no noise from the streets outside. Walking distance from just about everything. Lobby staff was so friendly and welcoming. Hotel was clean enough. Weird, corroded shower head that didn't match the esthetics of the rest of the hotel. The balcony overlooking the courtyard was beautiful. Will miss the coffee and pastries in the morning.
Overall was satisfied with the hotel & room. Keeping in mind that we stayed when there were no events going on in the area. Certainly the location was perfect as it relates to Bourbon Street. The staff that we interacted with was wonderful. Very nice & helpful. The room, though having beautiful old style architecture, was on the smaller side. And a little on the dirty side as I found out when I wiped some water off the floor. And you don’t have some of the “comforts” that you get with hotels nowadays. But I give that a pass ... read more
Run down but nice. The balcony has peeling wood that really needs sanding and paint. Kitchenette has no microwave!!? No soap dish? Good location. Almost $50 a night to park, there's a lot a block and a half away that we used, $11 a night.
My family loves this hotel. It's close to everything and surprisingly very quiet.
