Man, I would not recommend Staypineapple based on this visit. First thing I got hit with when I walked in was a $32 per night convenience fee. Few things that I can't stand as much as hidden fees, just charge me the rate up front, don't hide it. And then to make things worse, they have a nice sign explaining how the fee is there because they don't want to nickel and dime you for all these other things...so they just charge a daily fee instead of charging you for all a drink here and a snack there....and right next to that ... read more
Small boutique hotel with few amenities but nice ones that count (aluminum bottled water and refill stations provided). It is also pet friendly, very comfy beds, was pretty quiet when I was there, and best of all the location is FANTASTIC. You are walking distance to so many key sights of nyc and a five minute walk to Penn Station. Recommended! Just be aware the base rooms “Celebrity” are SO SMALL. This is of course normal for nyc in this price range.
The location is amazing! It cannot be beat. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. I can't believe how tiny the room was though. It was actually to the point that it was comical for how ridiculous it was for the price we paid. No storage for anything besides 4 shallow drawers. No hooks for towels or anything else. Luckily we were hardly in our room, because it was not comfortable to be packed in there like we were. Great location, the employees are so friendly, we'd definitely stay here again centrally located without being on the door step of times square. Rooms really clean, they are on the small side but didn't bother us as we weren't in it much as had so much on. beds are very comfortable the complimentary toiletries are a great touch, along with the coffee in the mornings and soft drinks in the afternoon if your around
Great location, kind, courteous, staff, clean, and well put together rooms. Highly recommend.
