I booked Staybridge Suites Lake Jackson yesterday morning through Priceline. I accidentally forgot to update the dates for my stay (Thursday through Friday instead of Friday through Saturday). As soon as I realized my mistake, I called Priceline and the hotel to see if I could update the dates. Neither party was able to help; I was told that they could not refund me even though all I was asking for was it to be moved one day which they made seem like was impossible to achieve. I am submitting this statement to document concerns arising from my recent employment experience within the housekeeping department. During my onboarding, I was explicitly informed by the Head of Housekeeping that seven new hires had either resigned or been terminated within the same week.
