It was an absolute pleasure to deal with this Storage facility and the manager Russell, is a gem. So easy to deal with, polite, friendly and extremely professional. Great pricing, containers are brand new and so accommodating for our removalists to unload. The service has been amazing and I highly recommend this business.

I would give this place a big fat 0 if it was allowed. STAX of storage were negligent in replacing the roof and flooding their storage units! All of our possessions were ruined! They failed to disclose the damage in time and then when they did they downplayed it! We were forced to go through our own stuff ( in amongst mould spores) and then house it in the unit until assessed by the insurance people. We submitted our claim in full in June and we are STILL being charged for a mouldy storage unit full of ruined possessions! ST... read more

Stax Storage at Portland undertook roof renovations, in May 2023, and neglected to waterproof storage units from possible rain ingress. Even units at ground level were washed out during winter storms. Expensive items were ruined and the resultant claim has been shunted from pillar to post, from one insurance broker (Crawford) to another (Midlands) without anyone accepting responsibility. Or offering recompense

Great place to store your belongings and have the roof removed for a month during winter and have everything flooded.
