They have women guard dogs on the phone. They claim "free consultation" but lie about having a 'consultant' call to set an appointment. Sometimes they listen to your concerns and are emphatic that "someone needs to look at it" and the next day they want to give all kinds of free senseless advice such as stupid worthless sod jobs over the phone and accuse the consumer of being aggresive when they want someone to take a look. Women in Topeka know 0 about lawns and that is a FACT.
They installed two retaining walls in our backyard and did a fantastic job! We appreciated their attention to detail and taking the time to walk through the plans. They were very organized, stayed on schedule, and would communicate with us if there were any updates. The walls look amazing and we are so excited about our new backyard! We have had several friends and family members inquire about who did our landscaping and asking about using them for their upcoming projects. I highly recommend them.
Not sure how their lawn care is, but their workers ran into our mailbox, knocking it really loose and scuffing the side/front. They have told us twice that they would fix and follow up. They also told us that it was still “functionable”. Stauffer’s - how would you like it if someone ran into one of your trucks or keyed one of them and the person responsible just told you “it’s still functionable”? Editing my review to 3 stars because they finally came and fixed it after a review
