Posting this under an alias, but I really felt like I needed to share this publicly. I shop at Staud all the time and ive genuinely never had an experience as bad as the one I had today (7/26). The employee 'Aliyah'—a Black woman, bushy eyebrows with slicked back hair and Miu Miu glasses was insanely rude. When I went upstairs and simply asked if a dress was in stock, she looked at me like she was completely disgusted that I was even speaking to her. The shoes are poor quality, but when I emailed they gave me a 25% refund.
Went to this Staud location on the evening of December 27 to make a return. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in, and one associate in particular (tall, slicked back bun, didn’t catch her name) had a bad attitude. It’s always somebody working retail that has the nerve to have a bad attitude. Much better customer service at the NYC SoHo location.
Had such a pleasant shopping experience here! Tessa and Heather were so helpful and knowledgeable and I walked out with exactly what I was looking for. Totally coming back!
