My boyfriend came here for treatment three times in the course of a month and every time was a thorough, thoughtful and gentle approach. Although suffering from a mental health condition, each physician, nurse took the time to validate, treat and helped tremendously after a hospital didn’t even X-Ray or treat obvious wounds. I wanted to self pay because my insurance sucks. They quoted $187 with self pay but since I had insurance said I HAD to use it and it would be $387. What bullshit that you cant pay how you want and the insurance that I pay for would cost me more than without. What help they were and Im still sick. Won't go there again!!
Today was my third visit to StatMed & I have been impressed each time. The facilities are pristine & pleasant. The front desk people are very helpful & friendly. Even calling on the phone I felt cared for. I saw a P.A. each time. The first one instantly understood my complaint & gave me a couple choices as to how to proceed, giving me the pro's & con's of each.
