Central Station has unparalleled dining in a historic fire station. The building was the main fire station of Bloomington until 1974. After sitting vacant for a couple of years, the building was remodeled as a restaurant. Its design was basically as it is today: the engine stalls are now the main dining room, the horses were kept in what is now our kitchen, and the fireman's quarters were remodeled into banquet rooms and a martini lounge.

Everything about Station 220 exudes attention to detail, care, and a deep knowledge and love of food and where it comes from. Stumbled in here on a whim and had one of the best meals of my life. Chef Stu took the time to get to know us and explain his passion for farming and cooking. Check this place out...you will not be disappointed.
