The trick is to get there at 5pm .. Once you get there early , you wait around an hour to get on the bus .. Which isn't bad at all .. Then around another hour to actually get to the house. The set was amazing , one of the best I've seen .. Very detailed in every single room , however it wasn't as scary as I expected.
I was the guy who works for channel 5 and all i have to say #1 Haunted Mansion and we seen all of them. Good job guys to all actors and workers who made all possiable... Good job.....
Great haunt. Lines were long, to be expected, but nothing to complain about and i went at 9 during the busiest time. The house itself was designed incredibly well with a lot of detail in every room. The woods and cemetary was longer than i anticipated, the lights on the rocks and the monster perched on top was a nice touch. About 15-20 min in the woods, and 20 min in the house. I enjoyed it, the line when we went was not that bad when we got out it looked terrible, we waited longer for the bus back to the parking lot than to get into the attraction. My advice is to get chainsaws for the actors, and have scary music playing in lines.
For starters, the forty minute wait for the shuttle bus sucked. You approach the haunted house and are greeted by yet another long line but that's not all. Did you buy your tickets online? Well, you can now wait in one of two lines to pick up the physical tickets. Yay! Another fifteen minutes. Meanwhile, the cash line is just moving steadily and they are getting their VIP entrance before you. Just awesome, right?
