Wonderful production! Great actors, great setting, great atmosphere. The house is beautiful, I will be coming back again!
Was great, get the speed pass, but only good to get in.
The wait was terrible as many have mentioned. Only reason I am not totally mad is I got a great deal on Groupon. Would not have gone though if I knew there would be a total of 6 different lines and it taking over 2 hours to get to the house I was rushed through. The attention to detail in the rooms was amazing but the scare factor was not there. They set up some great potential for scares but the lack of actors really lets you down. Not one I will go to again.

We went on the opening weekend and left quickly when we saw the long lines. However, we went back last weekend and had a BLAST. Very impressive, continuous theming, presentation, and decor. Hands down top-three Chicago area haunts of all time.
I've been to Universal Studio's Halloween Horror nights. Hell's Gate delivered better scares and better sets than Big U. Immersive, fun, entertaining. I don't scare easily and they even got me once. Take your loved ones and go. Do yourselves the favor.
All though there was an extremely long wait time, the actual haunt was really well done and the structure was beautifully made.
