I went to Staten Island University Hospital South on 8/23 and it was honestly one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I always heard people say never go to South and to always go to North, but I thought it couldn't be that bad. My whole life I have gone to North and was always treated well, so I figured I would give South a chance. That was a huge mistake and I will only ever go to North from now on. I was in a car accident and of course was dreading going to the hospital thinking I would be there all day. Boy was I wrong. I am so impressed with the way this hospital treated me, how efficient and smooth their operation was. I wasn't left alone for more than a few minutes before somebody else came in and tended to me or took me for x-rays or gave me a shot. The staff were so nice. I was in and out in less than 2 hours and saw an MD, a PA, a nurse, and a few others. Kudos to this amazing team and thank you.
Not good
I am want to thank the entire crew from A- Z at SIUH - south. I am very happy and grateful with the services provided to me the day of my out patient procedure 7-10-25. The staff was extremely compassionate and understanding.
