We filed a civil suit in Nassau County for money paid as a deposit for hurricane protection shades. We have been provided with a judgement for the deposit plus our expenses getting to this point. Do not do business with these people. They took our money but they would not take our calls or provide us with a refund for a job they could never get job done.
I called Stateline Home Services from an ad in the ************** for quote on an awning. *********************** came on July 2, 2022 and gave a quote that I accepted and we signed a contract. He wanted 1/2 payment to start the order. I wrote a personal check #*** off the **** for $2850.00. He cashed it on July 5, **** in *****, *******. Signed contract June 15 2022 to supply and install Astro Guard Hurricane protection screens. Paid a 30% deposit. Promised installation by end of July. Could not get them to respond re: installation many many calls. Finally *** asked for return of deposit and called manufacturer who reports they have shipped my material to them, although have not been paid. The did fantastic work on our home. The project manager, Paul,was knowledgeable and informed us of issues we did not realize. Marthaand her crew did fantastic work and left us with a good job and super clean workspace.
Paid $740.00 to install gutter guard to one (1) existing gutter 29feet long according to scope of work which specifies gutter guard installed, gutters adjusted as needed to drain efficiently, gutter seams and joints caulked, and additional hanger brackets installed. Work area was to be clean of debris upon completion. First, I noticed fistfuls of caulking all over landscape gravel. Stateline gutters installed gutters on my Historic Home back in June 2021 ( this year.) Initially I was pleased. BUT when it started to RAIN? WATER was pouring on my house roof terribly Bad. I called Stateline Gutters AND sent them a Video. It took them 5 months to show back up! This was after I had called and called several times per month.The owner told me to come out and fix the problem they caused it would cost me an additional ****** I was insulted to think they would have the nerve to charge me for their MISTAKES ? We made multiple trips to correct the problem. What needed to be done was outside of the original scope of work that was paid for. Leaf Shield is a former employee of ours that has stolen property from and has gone out of his way to influence past customers like this. LARMA
This company is charging double and almost triple than any other gutter company in my area. They are ripping off the elderly. Luckily I achieved more quotes and got it done for $3000 less than Stateline quoted. They need to stay out of *****.

Total quote for your job should have been $3049. If you found a company to install gutters for you for $49.00 good bless you. Your quote was given in July and you waited until October to leave a review. Does not make sense.
The cam out and gave us a very detailed explanation and proposal for what it would cost us to have gutters and gutter guards installed on our home. The crew that came and did the work were very fast and efficient. After numerous rains we son no issue with the gutter system and are extly satisfied we chose state line.
The customer service and the service person did not follow through. We had the estimator come to the house 5/10 and do a take off. The take off this person did, did not specify "front of house" or "back of house" on one of the gutters, and it was installed on the wrong eve. The installer told me my wife made the mistake and my wife stood by her word that she did not tell him that particular eve.
