"When it comes to durability, nobody does it like State." So says the company, but this is totally disconnected from reality. I have a Premier Force 90+Ultra-Low NOx 50 gallon unit. The original unit was purchased and installed in 2018. After multiple failures, the unit was replaced in 2024. Just one year later, the replacement unit is failing. Quoted parts and repairs come to $3,600! I called the company expecting them to cover the cost, but no such luck. Apparently, the warranty on the original unit carries forward to the ... read more

3 year old heater. Knocks, pings and now leaks. State claims as long as it heats water, there is no warranty claim.

stay away from these heaters! replacement gas valve takes 1-2 weeks to make them, no parts available!!! not reasonable. heater only a couple of years old!!

I have 2 hybrid heat pump water heaters. The first one failed within a month and was replaced, the second one failed too, but they won't replace it, even though they no longer make it because of known issues! We can't even take ONE short shower without running out of hot water. When we contacted them they literally wrote THIS in their email back to us... "Please note that not enough hot water isn't the result of a water heater defect, and therefore is not covered under your water heater's warranty." I mean, WHAT? I shouldn't... read more

For a US company. You should be ashamed. The amount of times I need to call the plumber because of the water heater failing so often is absolutely disgraceful. Regardless of warranty - that doesn't pay for the amount of labor involved. I don't understand how you can stand behind your product and then sell them to customers who need hot water to live. Especially families. I would absolutely not recommend this brand/product to anyone. Problem is this is all the plumbers can get in the US. Your brand is clearly shiesty and cutt... read more
