The LA downtown office is a horrible place! If you are lucky enough you get one of the more experienced agents, otherwise you are screwed. I had my appointment, a Chinese agent called me - totally inexperienced, formerly maybe a copy machine attendant - and the nightmare began. First she totally misunderstood my issue, after half an hour waiting time and questioning her superior she came back with the wrong answer.
