Love State Market! Drove from Richmond to get Triple Sweet Corn from stall 43. Peaches were great. Brought plants & some crafty things. Will be back this fall. Well worth the trip

I love the farmers market. Fresh fruits 🍉🍎 and vegetables 🥒 🌶Yesterday was 🍑 peach day. Gerald and I purchased peaches and fresh peanuts. 🥜 I walked down one side up the other side sampling the peaches 🍑 from different counties, and really enjoyed my day out with Gerald.
I was 5 starts excited to share this with my youngest little man; however, we got there at 5:01 pm and when I pulled up to the intersection and saw (on the marquee) that it was open until 8 (!), I thought, GREAT! I won't have to run around trying to get everything I needed. I am a baker and just needed local organically grown peaches for my own farmers market on Saturday, but every vendor was covered up and gone...not just packing up to leave at 5, but vacated! The best time to shop in our retail areas is 9am-5pm, 7 days a week. The NC Seafood Restaurant is open until 8pm.
Great time at the Farmers Market.It has been a long time and I was please with all of my purchases. Will visit more frequently!
