Don't go on a Monday! Thought I'd go there early evening to see what's going on since it was highly recommended by locals. There needs to be better signage, directions, and website information about the hours. City Market is different than City Market Restaurant and all of the ancillary buildings on the market campus.

Love going there on a weekend or holiday morning to have brunch, coffee, buy the week’s supply of food and condiments; plus plants and flowers for the home. Definitely the best place to go to for local NC products! #supportlocal

We love to buy plants from there. In fact today we bought a bunch of one gallon vegetable seedlings. But the lady who was selling in this particular shop was rude to us. Sorry.

45 minutes after ordering our food it still had had not arrived. Spent one hour in the restaurant and got a cup of coffee to show for it. Left without ever getting meal.
