I have held a credit card at SDFCU since 2019. It pays an industry leading cash back rebate and has a competitive APR. Unfortunately SDFCU's customer service is absolutely atrocious. I have been trying to pay my monthly bill the last few days, but have been unable to because the bank turned off the online payment option because I declared my card lost/stolen on Monday night. The SDFCU website crashes more frequently than any bank's website should.
My recent experience with SDFCU shows serious customer services issues once again. I called to get my car title after we paid the auto loan. They never sent it. I was told they sent it to the DMV . When I went to the DMV they said they hadn't. But since I needed the title to sell the car I had to pay $50 for a duplicate title. When I complained to SDFCU they admitted they had the title all along but I was out 50 bucks because of their misinformation. In the interim, I needed a lien release letter from SDFCU.
