I can’t say enough good things about my experience at StarWest Computers. The guy working there was super nice, down-to-earth, and actually helpful without trying to upsell me or make me feel like I didn’t know what I was doing. Before coming here, my friend and I had shown our parts list to a couple other shops in the area (including one that tried to convince us to return everything and spend way more on stuff we didn’t need). My computer pretty much died i thought life was over. I was given a place to try and wow so glad I took that advice. I brought my pc in and met Josh. Very professional and listened to what I did to create this issue. He let me know he had a few ideas on what it may be and they will start as soon as they can. I came to StarWest for a screen replacement on my damaged HP Envy, and am very pleased with my experience. They dealt with some trouble with the parts suppliers, and still came through with the repair. With the display being a touchscreen, the job was more complex than a typical display replacement, and after checking around, they definitely gave me the best value for my money. Thanks for the great work, and I'll definitely be back if I need any other repairs in the future.

After two other companies blew my Mom off and didn't help her, Sean at StarWest in Layton was a lifesaver!! I live in FL and was trying to coordinate a battery replacement for my Mom's laptop there in Utah. They did an amazing job! My Mom couldn't stop commenting on how nice everyone was. Sean even emailed me with an update during the process, too! All around a wonderful experience and we will recommend them to other family and friends in Utah. They deserve 10 stars!

Serviced my laptop. They were quick, honest and helpful. They diagnosed the problem quickly—I needed a replacement motherboard, and they told me how much a repair would cost. I decided not to move forward and they returned my laptop free of charge.
