I called Starting Point about 2 months ago. I needed to get my License restated by the WA DOL. The treatment agency I went to closed down and won't respond to my emails. They are the only people who could send info to the DOL and release my drivers license. When I called, I spoke with Kristi. She gave me some helpful information and then got me in touch with De. Edit: Turned out I was correct and after emailing the DOL myself, not even needing a hearing, it was purely an administrative issue and all Starting Point had to do was get them a letter stating exactly what they put on my assessment but they were so unwilling to do so. The DOL cleared me for my license. In fact using the fact that Starting Point was unwilling to send the letter stating what was already done on the assessment helped me in my case. I now have my license and everyone I talked to at Starting Point was incorrect... read more

I’m so grateful that I was guided to Starting Point. I transferred from another treatment center to finish up my program and Heather was great helping me through the process with ease. I am grateful to have Jenine Hildebrand as my counselor. I thought I just needed a few more classes to finish the court’s requirements, Turns out I needed someone to show me how to live a purposeful and happy life being clean and sober. I am beyond grateful that divine intervention lead me to Starting Point. I was blessed to have Jen as my counselor. She is one amazing lady! Through one on one counseling and group therapy as well, she works with you to design a plan for living a healthy clean and sober lifestyle. The journey of recovery is completely impossible for me in my own. Starting Point has incredibly kind, compassionate, knowledgeable staff and have gone above and beyond their call of duty to assist me during my journey. The groups were full of support and education and the vast amount of resources have truly helped me. The payment plans made it adorable to do out-of-pocket as well. I am so blessed by the programming and counseling I have received at Starting Point.
