I had a wonderful experience at Stars. I had a very friendly and helpful consultant. She really helped me find what looked great on me. I have many favorite gowns from this store. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help. Wonderful wedding gown shopping experience!

One of the greatest moments of my wedding was walking back up the aisle with Eric (my new husband!) and having him turn to me and say,"You look beautiful & your dress is GORGEOUS!" I knew he would love it, but hearing him say it meant SO much to me. Not only do I think I looked fabulous (thank you!) but my two sisters, Amy (Baldwin-Stephens) and Sara (Davis) looked stunning as well. Outstanding!! – Thank you sooooooo much for everything you did for me. I could not have possibly gotten through the first few months of living in Connecticut and planning my wedding alone without the support of you three. You are truly special and amazing women and I am completely grateful for everything you did! I hope that at some point in time we could all go and grab a drink!! btw...the veil was outstanding!!

Great service! – I purchased a mother of the groom dress and was there 3 times with 3 good experiences. They allowed us to try on many dresses, with one on one attention. Would recommend.

Excellent service – I am getting married in 3 months and have had the most wonderful experience with Star. I live in California and my wedding is in Connecticut. I found my wedding gown here over a year ago and since then we have also purchased the bride's maid dresses, mother of the bride and a family member also purchased a dress for my wedding. The staff has been very accomodating to my hectic schedule of only visiting twice before the wedding for fittings and to get my veil. I highy recommned this salon.

Perfect! – I had always thought of Stars as prom dress capitol of Farmington Valley, but I'm so thankful I followed my mother's advice to look for gowns there. They don't have the most extensive collection, but what they do have provides a very wide variety of styles and prices, which I appreciated. They respected my privacy, took into consideration my and my mother's opinions, let us spend as much time as we needed there, and allowed me to try on dresses over and over. I visited Stars during the week around 1:00PM and found the service to be friendly, honest and a very good experience. I was not looking forward to it because I wanted to be a few sizes thinner than I really am. My tension was released by Hope who was comforting and quite professional. She advised me that a 9-12 week ordering period was necessary which I understand. I could not believe the negative press!
