I was told Dr Starr died around a year ago. I didn't like him at all I told him I wanted to become a professional wrestler and go to school for it and he made fun of me for it and tried to diagnose me with ADHD that same appointment and also made fun of my mom for not having money to get a baby sitter for my younger brother. Dr Starr is very rude and I have seen other clients of him say the same. I have seen other people in the building like Galvin and he taught me how to relax more often and not get as mad, I have also seen... read more
Dr Starr is always late, rude to the patients and likes to dole out the pills. My advice is stay far away as possible. He charges you he has to call in a prescription and unless you cancel the appointment a month ahead of time he charges you for it.
Avoid this place at all cost! Dr. Starr is was extremely unprofessional from the very first visit. You wait for 2-3 hours in the waiting room on a regular basis to see him. When you do see him his office is a disaster and he spends the majority of the time with you just shuffling through papers. When we mentioned a specific disorder that our son had been diagnosed with he was not even aware that this disorder existed. Next he will do little to confirm the diagnosis. He is only concerned wit

He allowed his secretary's son help clean up files; against hippa laws! Lost 1/2 my records and yelled at me for it. He called he would be late, okay, got there, waited 1/2 hour more, left my copay and left. He charged me a no show fee. He said that I should have called him FROM HIS WAITING ROOM! I HAVE A NO PAY ON MY CREDIT REPORT. .....REALLY? HE HAS BEEN REPORT TO THE BOARD OF PSYCHIATRY. WALK INTO HIS WAITING ROOM WHEN THERE ARE PATIENTS WAITING - GO AHEAD-SEE THE PATIENT'S FACES.
This guy does nothing but talk down to you. Every time I? left this guy i felt worse. And he expects you to wait at least 2 hours for your appointment. If you are late he charges you.
Consistently several hours late for scheduled appointments. Pompous, condescending, and absolutely no interest in patients difficulties. Billed for appointments cancelled by him or his clinicians. This place is toxic. Avoid at all costs.
Appointment time is only an estimate. The only time he was on time I was sick and had to cancel. Was charged $100 cancellation fee. Have waited over three hours in his office due to his scheduling habits
Dr Starr is so booked that you need to call prior to appt time at least 2-3 times on the sceduled day to see when he can take you. As many as 6-8 hours late every single time. He does not listen to patients. He talks above and down to them.
