If you are looking for a doctor with compassion and flexibility, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. My family had a deeply distressing experience with Dr. Smith regarding my mother’s care. When we needed standard medical paperwork completed for an assisted living facility, her office made an already stressful transition unnecessarily difficult. I went there for a blocked ear ( due to congestion) I saw the dr for 5 minutes and was charged over $500!!! $250 for removal of 'ear serum/wax' that I did NOT ask him to do.
I enjoy this office very much, I have been with them since 2023 and I've had no issues. The staff is always friendly and I've never had an issue booking appointments. They have the bloodwork lab on-site which is very convenient. Dr. Smith is a very straight forward doctor when it comes to health, which might deter some people if they are not ready to hear that they are not living a healthy lifestyle. Everyone there was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I got in very quickly once I arrived, although I was early. The appointment was very quick which I appreciate. They detailed everything that they were going to do. Doctor explained everything they found out from the tests very well at the end of the appointment. Really the ideal medical appointment!
I was refused to be seen for my new patient appointment because I brought my 10 week old with me, who was asleep in her car seat. I accepted it, even though it doesn’t mention “no infants allowed” anywhere on their website. It’s not the receptionist’s fault that such an absurd policy exists. When I called to reschedule, I was simply told “We can’t rebook you at this time”, with no immediate explanation.
