Dr. Salerno has looked after me for about 5 years. He has a way of putting you at ease when discussing difficult topics. You get all of the information you need to make an educated choice about your care. His opinion carries a lot of weight. He cares about how you can get the best possible outcome. The staff at the Hartford location is a joy to be around. They seem to all work well together. The appointment process is usually quick & painless. They work with me instead of, here is an open date, take it or leave it.
Dr. Salerno takes the time to listen to his patients and is willing to go the extra mile for them. He is great at follow-up and getting things rolling. I am sorry to see him leave Starling Physicians, but I wish him the best on his new job. He will be missed.
Dr. Salerno saved me my old doctor had me all messed up, I couldn't even walk from my TV room to the kitchen witch is about 25'. I would have to sit down to catch my breath, all he wanted me to do was go to P.T. no help at all. I went to Dr. Salerno and within month I was doing stairs agian. I would tell anyone that needs a pulmonary doctor give him a try I think they will be very happy.
