This place is dirty, not well run and the people who are in charge are very rude. All that would be tolerable if I felt my horse would be safe there and I do not.
I boarded 2 horses at Starfire and found the barn to be clean and hazard free and the staff to be professional and friendly. My horses always seemed content there. I never worried about them. In fact one of them still lives there, under someone elses ownership. Thats was a few years ago, but I cant imagine it has changed.
I have boarded my 3 Horses here for over 5 years. I love this place !!!! I know my Horses are always safe and cared for. The people are amazing I have made so many Friends and would suggest this place to anyone. They are also one of the best priced places around. This is a know DRAMA barn and I love it!!!!! When I think of a professional, clean, caring boarding facility, I think of Starfire. I have never known of a stable that cares so much for horses! They make sure all of the horses are cared for-no matter what! The grounds are beautiful, plenty of turn out areas. Beautiful clean stalls. The staff is incredible! They will go out of their way to help with any of your needs! The people that board there are a wonderful bunch. I cant think of a better place to board my horse. Starfire is a great place to board horses! The barn manager lives on the property and goes out of her way to make sure the horses are healthy and happy. There are many pastures for turn out, nice arenas and fun people boarding there. I don't have to worry if my horses have fresh water or being fed daily. I highly recommend Starfire for boarding horses!
If you are considering boarding your horse/horses at Starfire, please visit the facility before you form an opinion. My experience with the staff has been extremely positive and the care of the horses is their number 1 priority. The turnout is the best I have found and one of the partners lives on the property, so you know if something is wrong they will see it quickly. Starfire is an excellent facility! Ive boarded my horses there for almost three years now, and theyve always received top-notch care! All of the horses are shiny, healthy, and happy. There hasnt been a single ill horse in the time Ive been there, and zero injuries due to negligence. The quality of hay and feed is great, TONS of turnout in huge pastures, airy and spacious barn, great riding facilities, and the management is excellent!!! This is the best place I have ever boarded my horses, I never have to worry about anything. They are very well cared for and it is just an amazing place.
