First time taking a cycling class, ever, and the environment was very welcoming. The instructor, Lexi, made it easy to follow along and she is very professional, energetic and motivational, especially for an early 6AM class! 10/10 would recommend and even better if Lexi is your instructor!
I am giving 3 stars because as a beginner, it was really hard to follow the instructors in the dark. The room is very dark and even from the front row I still was not able to follow whether the instructor was standing or sitting, arm movements etc. I know they keep it dark so that you don't compare yourself to others which is great. What I would recommend is a separate intro class for beginners with the lights ON where you can learn the basics. StarCycle offers an amazing workout and makes it fun. The instructors bring lots of positive energy and motivation. The music and atmosphere are awesome. It's like going to a dance party! I would highly recommend it.
All I can say is wow! I took advantage of the first free class you get if you’re new to star cycle & I had an amazing experience! I’ve taken multiple spin classes before but they were nothing like this one. My instructor was Lexi & she was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I would 100% recommend booking your first class with Lexi if you’re new. She is so sweet & knowledgeable! She helped me set up my bike & made sure I was comfortables! I love everything about this studio. Everyone is friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Instructors are great and so are the receptionists. They will know your name and give personal attention before and during the ride. They are also very understanding. Last year after purchasing single class passes for some time I signed up for the membership.
