While I'm unsure what the experience is like hiring the Berkshire Hathaway Starck team directly, we dealt with one of their agents who was selling a property. We had one of the worst experiences anyone could have, especially considering we were first time home buyers. The listing agent from Berkshire was incredibly unprofessional and rude to our realtor and our inspector. Unethical broker. False advertising-THEY DO NOT CARE. This company advertises one price, then raises before you can sign contracts. They will get every dollar they can. Screenshots, etc. doesn’t matter if you have proof of pricing/advertising. Brokers won’t reply, you get penalized because of “time differences”. They should reply!! They advertise as if locations are cute, cozy towns when in reality homes are in fields near a low-end retailer, and in the hometown of a national, controversial killer. I was very pleased to work with one of the realtors with the name of Pepa Filtcheva. Pepa is a wonderful and a very kind person. But this is just a "bonus" to her professional attitude. I was impressed by the way she was looking the properties with me. It felt like she had my concerns and it was like she was looking for my best interest buying a property to make sure everything is in order based on what I was looking for.
