I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks location today. At 6:16 AM, I placed a mobile order and came to the store to pick it up. My drink was customized with no sugar syrup and only one pump of white chocolate sauce. When I arrived, I noticed that one of the male baristas seemed a little unsure while preparing my drink. Hey Starbucks, your Matcha Latte is way too sweet. The excessive amount of sugar completely ruins the taste of the matcha and makes it feel like I’m drinking sugar syrup rather than a matcha latte. I was especially disappointed with the Monday Buy 1 Get 1 Free Matcha promotion. Instead of enjoying two matcha drinks, it honestly felt like I was consuming two glasses of sugar syrup. Please consider reducing the default sugar level in your matcha drinks, or at least give customers an easy option to choose their sweetness level.... read more
