I understand the rule is you have to buy something in order to use the bathroom. But I literally was about to piss myself and I told the barista I was going to buy something after I just really needed to use the bathroom. She insisted that I needed to buy something first. I told her it was an emergency. She denied me the code every time I asked and reassured her I was planning on buying a coffee. She still denied me the bathroom. So I took my business elsewhere. It was a fine Sunday afternoon, skies were grey, clouds covered the sun. But didn’t cover the joy and excitement of our barista. She was the sun for today. Jacque was incredibly nice and helpful to us. She had recommendations for our drinks to make them better, advised us if the drink we were getting was going to be sweet or strong. Truly someone who enjoys her job and wants to make others day and I applaud her for that. Working in customer service is not for the weak.
