Went in to get a water bottle filled. It’s a large 1.5 ltr bottle and the fountains at the beach are designed in a way that I could only fill it a qtr of the way. I’m on a seriously limited income. I’m ALSO walking the coast. Currently at Mile 8,866. Screw fibromyalgia keeping me stuck in bed. And I’m currently continuing this walk with a 50 pound pack, on 2 forearm crutches becuz my knees keep trying to give out and bend sideways. Still I Don’t Quit. Coffee was good. Funny though because when I entered there was an older white woman with a long ponytail, blonde. She wasn't mean at all but I still felt uneasy ordering. Her energy was conflicting with my own. When I walked in she narrowed in on me almost as if she was mustering up the energy to be polite. I'm a woman of color. Her "kindness" felt forced.
