I arrive 10 minutes later, intentionally late (because the slow experience here is the experience at all Starbucks, these days) and I see the barista BEGIN to make my coffee. She’s also creating all sorts of shaken…frothy…syrupy…iced…EVERYTHING COMPLICATED UNDER THE SUN…drinks…as my drip coffee SITS.
