Went to this location for the first time, ordered a large matcha frapp, and was given a compostable cup and straw for the first time ever at a Starbucks. While I’m all for reducing waste, I at least want to be able to finish what I purchased. With the (non see-through) lid on, I kept moving the straw trying to get more of my drink, but when I wasn’t getting anything, I found this was the issue. As much as Starbucks is a huge corporation, the staff at this store is so welcoming and down home. It really is a fun place to go. My kids love it. One girl gave them their own "coffee" and it was water but they felt important too. It's always coffee time
This Starbucks sucks. They gave their employees some weird assertiveness training that is denigrating through interrogation. I was in the bathroom, my husband came in a few minutes later opened his laptop, and within 30 seconds he was accosted by an employee who said: “Are you enjoying our free WiFi?” He answered “I’m not using your WiFi.” Then she said, “are you getting a drink?” He answers “no my wife is getting me a drink and I don’t know where she is?” “What drink did you get?” She says He answers again, “I don’t know wh... read more
Who wants to drink iced coffee out of a cardboard cup and flat paper lid? Disgusting. Starbucks please go back to normal cups. Also…. Have taken my tiny sweet black pug to other Starbucks 600+ times and have never been told to leave him outside. That happened at Bainbridge Island location.
