Today at this store I witnessed complete racism and discrimination against guest. I was sitting near the registers at a table which has outlets underneath so that I could charge my laptop. I sat down for maybe 10 minutes when the store manager made her way to the lobby and asked if i had a mobile order. Came in to get a drink with my electric scooter in hand, smiled to the barista and said hi and she immediately said “just a heads up you can’t have this in here” in a frustrated way and left the counter before i could even say anything else. I work in hospitality, i understand there are rules, i understand you’re having a rush and you might be under staffed, but there’s no reason to be rude to a customer like that, you can’t let the customers see your frustration. won’t be coming again !
Very popular coffee shop, I get my latte's there
A barista told a person in a wheelchair they couldn't use the restroom because they "weren't a paying customer." The new CEO Brian Niccol's policy changes are greedy and inhumane, I hope your tenure is short and your partners unionize. Maybe then they won't act like corporate zombies who refuse disabled people access to the restroom.
