Starbucks still unrivaled in premium coffee space. Two quibbles : 1. The menu on the wall display seems haphazard. There is no logical pattern in how items are displayed and I suspect all the flavors are not on the display 2. High-time to overhaul snack offerings. Look to Paris Baguette for inspiration. 3. Use bigger ice cubes for iced drinks. The pellets of ice currently being used slips past the opening on cup lid and could pose a choking hazard
I visited the location on August 7th to start my day. I had two matches and a frappe. My server, Lyle, seemed bothered when taking my order. I requested two water cups for my child, who was thirsty and wanted water. Lyle informed me that I had to wait because he wanted to take the next customer’s order. Visited the Starbucks at Menlo Mall and ordered drinks and snacks. The drinks were good as expected, but the snack portions were very small, and the taste was just average—definitely not worth the price. One of the biggest drawbacks was the lack of seating. We had to stand and eat with our 4-month-old baby, which was really uncomfortable. For such a busy mall location, I expected better accommodation for families and more seating space.
