I’m an avid Starbucks guy and I am not okay with being required to order before having access to a restroom, I’m not dressed like I’m displaced or utilizing a restroom for anything besides what it’s used for. Won’t be back to this location

I walked into the store urgently needing to use the restroom. When I asked for the bathroom code, one of the baristas responded, “You need to make a purchase first.” This response was completely unacceptable. It takes minimal effort to extend basic courtesy—especially in situations where someone clearly has an immediate need. This is the starbucks where i learned the new corporate policy is not to let people use the bathroom. Already sold my stock. 3 out of 4 employees were rude. I think the worst part about my experience here was that as i was leaving, after telling 3 extremely stand-offish cashiers that their new policy was off-putting, the starbucks app on my phone was sending me notifications about what drink specials were going on.
